At Multiplex, the ability to innovate is central to our business. We consistently look for better ways of building, both in terms of increasing value for our clients and benefiting the communities in which we operate.
With this in mind, the Multiplex Engineering Innovations Group (MEIG) was formed in 2013 by Professor James Murray-Parkes. MEIG is a multidisciplinary group of highly-skilled physicists, scientists and engineers focused on the creation and optimisation of novel engineering solutions for building and engineering structures.
MEIG pushes the edge of innovation by applying a depth of mathematical thinking to engineering problems, analysing complex engineering and building challenges and delivering simple efficient solutions.
Its elegant design solutions result in lighter weight structures, which reduce materials required and are easier and safer to fabricate, assemble and construct. In turn, this delivers better value for all.
