83,000 sq ft of high-end residential space with exceptional detailing in the heart of Mayfair

This 83,000 sq ft commercial building was redeveloped into 42 one, two and three bedroom luxury apartments spread over eight floors, aimed at the super-prime residential market.

A triple level basement houses car parking spaces for all tenants and also provides gymnasium facilities. At ground level, a new arcade through the building allows pedestrians to move between Old Burlington Street and Cork Street, leading to a hidden courtyard in the centre of the building. This is Mayfair’s first arcade since 1930 and fuses the project’s contemporary style with the existing Georgian architecture which surrounds the area.

The centrepiece of the courtyard is a glazed lift shaft, complete with glass lifts, which brings the residents up into their apartments. We have installed modular units in each apartment to control heating, cooling and ventilation while the reception rooms are designed to maximise light and views, extending onto the external terraces. Finished to the highest of standards, the apartments offer wooden floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, underfloor heating and an innovative lighting system. The intelligent use of materials, colour and bespoke detailing of the joinery and fixtures enhance the available light.
