We are proud to announce that the final slab of concrete has been installed at our 80 Charlotte Street development in London's Fitzrovia.

Representatives from the team – including our client Derwent London – came together at the topping out ceremony, where we laid the last slab and hoisted a yew tree. This follows the old Scandinavian tradition of placing a tree on top of a newly built structure to appease the tree-dwelling spirits that may have been disturbed during the construction. Topping out marks a significant milestone in a project's completion and provides the team with an opportunity to celebrate their achievements so far.

80 Charlotte Street has been designed by leading architect Make. It is a mixed-use development that will deliver 321,000 sq ft of commercial offices, 45,000 sq ft of residential apartments and 14,000 sq ft of retail space. With the building topped out, we are now moving towards the final stages of the project. The office space is already 84% pre-let and the development is scheduled to complete in early 2020.
