International Women's Day Breakfast Talk

Jessica Verdon, Social Sustainability Manager, chaired the event, whilst Zahida Hanif, Head of Finance, spoke on her time within the construction industry, opening up about the challenges she has faced in her career, overcoming bias, and how women and allies can support each other.

We also invited guest speaker Bonita Norris to talk about her journey to becoming the youngest woman to climb Mount Everest. Bonita's inspirational story demonstrates the importance of teamwork and equality, working together to lift each other up to achieve incredible results.

Callum Tuckett, Managing Director, spoke on how equality has support at the highest level of the business and discussed the steps that Multiplex are taking to achieve this.

To finish up, we held a speed networking session where members of the Multiplex team were encouraged to speak to someone new every few minutes, opening up new connections across the business.
