720 Bourke Street, Melbourne
Multiplex was appointed by Cbus Property to design and construct their 720 Bourke Street development, a prestigious new 16 level commercial office building located in Docklands, Melbourne.
720 Bourke Street development is located in the South East Stadium Precinct of Docklands, west of Melbourne’s central business district and the project includes a mix of office tenancy space: tower levels 1-10 are anchored by Medibank, while 11-16 will have a mix of other tenants. The ground floor and level one feature retail and food premises and the concourse level will have a Medibank clinic.
720 Bourke Street has a central atrium extending through all floors delivering an abundance of natural light. ESD features include recycled water use, a 230,000 litre storage tank for rainwater catchment, building management system, timer controlled mechanical and electrical systems and an under floor air distribution system.
Other facilities in the building include a gym, and multipurpose sporting facilities. The existing pedestrian bridge connecting Southern Cross Station to the Etihad Stadium concourse also provides additional pedestrian access to the building.
Construction completed in June 2014.
