Carefirst One-Stop Multi-Services Centre, Scarborough
Carefirst One-Stop Multi-Services Centre is a five storey, 52,743sf building that will be used as a One-Stop Multi-Services Centre to address the social and health care needs of the growing population in the Greater Toronto area.
This project is being partly funded by an Infrastructure Ontario loan and partly by donations. When complete it will contain a multi-services social centre, family health care centre and clinic, a respite care unit, complementary retail and rental space, administration office, cafeteria and outdoor garden. Work is due to commence Q4 2013, with demolition and remediation of the existing site, and will be complete in Q4 2014.
