Harbour One, Melbourne
Harbour One (H1) is a 22-level residential development along Docklands Drive, within Melbourne’s upmarket New Quay precinct. It takes full advantage of its enviable aspect and views to Victoria Harbour and the city skyline.
Harbour One was built by Multiplex in response to the changing demographic demands of Melbourne’s population. It offers a mix of studio, one and two bedroom apartments.
The facade simulates water and movement, featuring a unique ‘ribbon’ detail that climbs and curls around the slender apartment tower to form a distinguishing wave effect. This encompasses the construction of two buildings: a reinforced concrete high rise residential development and a five-level pod building.
The tower comprises a ground floor entry, with four levels of car parking below and 18 levels of apartments above. At ground level H1 offers an exclusive ‘library lounge’ open to residents and their guests for entertaining or relaxing with a wine and a book.
The building also features ground floor retail outlets, a gymnasium, audio visual lounge with large screen plasma and internet access.
Harbour One captures the essential New Quay spirit that has made this precinct an appealing destination. It’s a desirable Melbourne address that responds to the evolving nature of Australia’s housing market.
