Multiplex has been appointed as Programme Delivery Partner on the University of Glasgow’s campus development programme – the largest redevelopment the university has ever undertaken.
The project will be delivered under an NEC3 Option C contract and Phase One A will include the construction of a new Learning and Teaching Hub on University Avenue and the redevelopment of the former Western Infirmary Campus. This will create five new academic buildings with associated landscaping, infrastructure and road works. Phase Two will include a new Centre for Chronic Diseases and the creation of a Social Justice Hub to lead research into global inequality.
Construction will begin on 31 October 2017, with completion of Phase One A targeted for 2023.
