Overcoming complex logistical challenges to deliver a 26 storey condominium in downtown Toronto

Core Condominiums is 26 storey, 255,000 square foot high-rise tower in downtown Toronto. It is located within close proximity to the Toronto Eaton Centre, Yonge subway line and Ryerson University.

This 233-unit high-rise residential development boasts a stunning black and white tower with sculpted façades, glass windows and balconies.

Multiplex was engaged to provide construction management services for the demolition of an existing three-storey heritage building and excavation of five levels of underground parking, while preserving the existing building's heritage façade and incorporating it into the new 26 storey residential tower.

The building’s two distinct façades differentiate the east and west elevations, and the unique three storey podium with stone and heritage façades provides a grand entrance to the building. The podium incorporates the heritage front of a nineteenth century Georgian-style row house.
