An award winning campus that has reshaped the Perth CBD and redefined higher education in Western Australia.

The ECU City Campus brings together teaching, learning, research and community engagement within a landmark higher education destination in the heart of Perth.

Positioned above and around the Perth Busport (also delivered by Multiplex), the campus establishes a new connection between education and city life while contributing to the ongoing transformation of the Perth CBD.

The campus accommodates a broad range of disciplines, including the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Business and Law, Arts and Humanities, Science, the WA Screen Academy, Broadcasting, and Kurongkurl Katitjin, ECU's Centre for Indigenous Australian Education and Research. A striking dynamic digital media façade, immersive public spaces and activated laneways create a highly visible and engaging civic presence.

Delivered through a complex construction over live infrastructure environment, the project required careful integration with the operational Perth Busport while maintaining public access and continuity of transport services. Supporting a community of more than 10,000 students and staff, the campus demonstrates innovation in design, planning and delivery and was recognised with the Australian Construction Achievement Award, acknowledging its construction excellence and city-shaping impact.
