Transit City is the first residential development of the master planned community, SmartCentres Place.

The Transit City project features a trio of 55 storey residential towers, each standing at between 175 and 179 metres on the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC) skyline.

It also includes 30 residential townhouses, two parking garages – seven and eight storeys – with spaces to service Transit City residents and local businesses, and the fit-out of a BUCA restaurant at the ground floor of Tower 1.

Towers 1 and 2 achieved occupancy in 2020 and the third tower welcomed its first residents in 2021. Once complete, the project will bring 1,752 residential units and 1,385 parking spaces to the VMC community, realizing it as a thriving place to live, work and play.
