Derek Gorgi

Derek is a Director of our Global business and sits on the Multiplex Global Board.

In his role, Derek is responsible for the financial management and strategic direction of our business globally, as well as the management of our business in Canada.

As our Global CFO, Derek is responsible for allocating the business's capital and has overall responsibility for global finance, tax, treasury, risk and corporate initiatives. He also sits on Multiplex’s global credit committee and each of its regional credit committees. 

Derek assumed the role of Managing Director, Canada in 2024, where he has the ultimate responsibility for Multiplex’s Canadian business, including project delivery, new business strategy and operational oversight.  
 
Prior to joining Multiplex in 2016, Derek held a number of management positions within Brookfield Corporation’s finance operations. Derek is a chartered accountant and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario.
