Preparing the way for the next generation of data centre
Multiplex has been selected to carry out early enabling works at DCI SYD02. The scope of works includes the erection of additional fencing to supplement existing barriers, the demolition of four industrial buildings, and the installation of new stormwater tanks.
Multiplex will also relocate the existing water storage infrastructure for the SYD01 data centre. SYD02 will be a purpose-built project designed specifically for hyperscale cloud, content, and managed service providers, with the ability to accommodate IT equipment, operational areas, and ancillary office spaces.
