Advancing specialist healthcare capacity in Perth's Subiaco precinct
St John of God Subiaco Hospital is embarking on a major redevelopment that will modernise and transform the campus.
The Stage 3 works include a new six-storey clinical building designed to expand the hospital’s capacity and specialist services. Key components include a dedicated Heart Centre with four catheterisation laboratories, two cardiothoracic theatres, a 22-bed cardiology ward and a 14-bed coronary care unit. Additional facilities include operating theatres, expanded orthopaedic surgery and a 30-bed Day of Surgery Admissions unit.
Targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating, Stage 3 also includes a loading dock upgrade, end-of-trip facilities and a new chapel.
This stage forms part of a multi-stage redevelopment of the Subiaco Health campus. Multiplex previously completed Stage 2 in May 2026, delivering upgrades to public areas and essential infrastructure to support future expansion.
Construction commenced in mid-2026.
