John Flecker

John has more than 39 years' experience at Multiplex in Construction across the public and private sectors.

He commenced with Multiplex in Perth as a Cadet Site Engineer in 1987 and progressed through senior operational and executive roles before being appointed global Chief Executive Officer in 2019. A Chartered Professional Engineer, John brings extensive experience in project delivery and client engagement, with a strong track record of leading major, complex projects and building long term relationships.

John has ultimate responsibility for the operational performance of all Multiplex projects globally, including safety, program, cost and quality outcomes. He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, a long term Board Member of the Australian Constructors Association, and a founding Director of the Literacy for Life Foundation, a not for profit organisation focused on improving adult literacy in remote Indigenous communities.
