Mark Nolan

Mark is the Director of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality at Multiplex Canada, bringing over 20 years of experience across major infrastructure, healthcare, education, aviation, and mixed-use developments. Since joining Multiplex in 2012, he has led the national SHEQ strategy, fostering a strong safety culture, integrated ESG and quality systems, and effective governance across all projects.

Internationally, Mark has been instrumental in projects like the Abu Dhabi International Airport and Zayed University. In these roles, he implemented comprehensive HSE frameworks in complex, multi-contractor settings and ensuring robust safety.

In Canada, Mark oversees governance and assurance frameworks, including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and COR™ certification. He prioritize Energy-Based Safety and workforce wellbeing throughout all project phases and collaborate closely with project, commercial, and client teams to manage risk and ensure the successful delivery of complex builds. Additionally, Mark is recognized as an OHS Canada Top 25 Under 40 honouree and is a vocal advocate for mental health and psychosocial safety, as well as industry-wide safety and wellbeing advancements.
