Delivering critical upgrades to strengthen Sydney’s high density digital infrastructure

NEXTDC S2 is a Tier IV–designed and constructed data centre in Macquarie Park, built to support Sydney’s growing demand for secure, high performance digital infrastructure.

The facility provides more than 8,700 m² of technical space with flexible configurations, including rack ready cabinets, contiguous rows, custom cages and private suites.

Completed in 2020, S2 strengthens NEXTDC’s Sydney network through high capacity interconnection with S1 and seamless access to a wide ecosystem of cloud and network providers.

In 2025, we completed further power upgrades, installing three prefabricated modified switchrooms and three generator enclosures to enhance the centre’s capacity and support continuity of operations for NEXTDC’s customers.
