Advancing specialist healthcare capacity in Perth's Subiaco precinct
St John of God Subiaco Hospital is embarking on a major redevelopment that will modernise and transform the campus.
The Stage Three works include a new six-storey clinical building designed to expand the hospital’s capacity and specialist services. Key components include a dedicated Heart Centre with four catheterisation laboratories, two cardiothoracic theatres, a 22-bed cardiology ward and a 14-bed coronary care unit. Additional facilities include operating theatres, expanded orthopaedic surgery and a 30-bed Day of Surgery Admissions unit.
Targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating, Stage Three also includes a loading dock upgrade, end-of-trip facilities and a new chapel.
This stage forms part of a multi-stage redevelopment of the Subiaco Health campus. Multiplex previously completed Stage Two in May 2026, delivering upgrades to public areas and essential infrastructure to support future expansion.
Construction commenced in mid-2026.
