Congratulations to our project team at 65 Davies Street, who celebrated topping out last week.

The development, located in London’s West End, features 65,000 sq ft of commercial space, designed by PLP Architecture and located in a prominent position above Crossrail Ltd’s Bond Street Station. The scheme is acoustically isolated from the new Elizabeth Line below and has been meticulously designed to merge with the surrounding area, featuring a Public Art installation on the Western façade, and a green trellis installation on the South façade.

Multiplex’s appointment is Grosvenor’s first major contract award to take into account a bidders commitment to science based targets for carbon reduction. Our partners at Grosvenor value our long-standing commitment to sustainability, and we have been working closely with them and our supply chain on a series of interventions to support decarbonisation at 65 Davies Street.

Robert Kremis, Project Director said:

Through the challenges of the Crossrail infrastructure project and a global pandemic, Grosvenor and Multiplex have stood shoulder to shoulder to arrive at this landmark moment.

During construction we have collaborated to contribute positively to the local community and sympathetically to the local environment.

Celebrating the history and character of the area, 65 Davies Street is a fitting part of the gateway to Mayfair.

At Multiplex our purpose is to construct a better future, which is why we take a holistic approach to every project. Throughout the 65 Davies Street project, the team has prioritised engagement with the local community.

This is an exciting project to be a part of given its prime location and the impact Crossrail will have on the Bond Street area, as well as many others along its route.
