Watch: Reviving an Icon - 76 Southbank

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of 76 Southbank for Stanhope PLC.

A huge congratulations to our dedicated team, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants who made this achievement possible.

Since commencing work on site in June 2023, the team has worked hard to achieve Allford Hall Monaghan Morris's brilliant design, retaining 80% of the original Grade II listed structure.

Innovative solutions were employed throughout construction, including the strategic reuse of existing foundations and the incorporation of reused steel sections - distinct from recycling - to reduce the carbon footprint of the renovated building. Approximately 35 tonnes of reused steel (15% of the total structural steel) were incorporated, contributing to a 97.5% reduction in embodied carbon emissions compared to the production of new steel.
