Multiplex completed the construction of the 27 level hotel on a constrained site two months ahead of schedule.
Involved with the 3 ½ Star Ibis Styles Hotel from day one under an ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) arrangement, Multiplex was able to assess the overall design upfront and identified opportunities that reduced capital costs for the client and reduced the program.
The façade abutting Elizabeth Street is of cultural heritage significance as per the Queensland Heritage Register and was integrated into the final design of the project.
The hotel provides 368 guest rooms, pre-function and function areas, meeting rooms, a 180 seat restaurant, lounge and bar for guests.
