A leading research and education hub

Multiplex has delivered a research and education facility at the University of Sydney that enables staff and students to conduct world class research into the cause and treatment of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

The Charles Perkins Centre is a highly innovative development designed to be energy-efficient and cost-effective. The research centre provides 46,000 square metres of space that will facilitate up to 950 researchers and 1,445 students, who aim to ease the burden of the leading causes of illness and mortality in Australia by translating the work of the University of Sydney into real-world solutions.

The building was successfully delivered three months ahead of schedule and in time for the 2014 academic year. The project supports students both socially and academically and enables positive research for the community as a whole.
