Multiplex is constructing Stage 2 of NEXTDC’s P1 Perth data centre in Malaga, north of Perth’s CBD.
Stage 2 of P1 Perth will double its long-term IT capacity from 6MW to 12MW, including the construction and fit-out of a new 1069 square metre data hall. The works are taking place adjacent to an operational building delivered under Stage 1, adding significant complexity to the project.
As part of the works, Multiplex will undertake civil works and construct 590 square metres of new office space, 16 spaces of car parking, loading docks and other essential facilities. Future phases will include the fit-out of two more data halls, as well as expansions to Stage 2’s central plant and services infrastructure.
