Providing dynamic high and low care 'ageing in place' services

The St Patrick's Green Aged Care development includes three buildings encompassing a residential aged care facility, retirement village, podium courtyard, community services, back of house support and a car park.

The aged care facility has 92 bedrooms and provides both high and low care ‘ageing in place’ services. Each of the three buildings incorporate staff stations, space for clean and dirty utilities, storage and dining areas, lounges, television rooms, kitchens, pantries, rehabilitation rooms and hand over rooms.

The retirement village is made up of 104 independent living units total, each of which allow residents to receive services and support without leaving their apartment. Building one, two and three contain 56, 16 and 32 units respectively.

In addition, residents share a podium courtyard detailed with mature landscaping at their doorstep. A range of community facilities are also on offer, including a library, hairdresser and theatrette. These features combined, in conjunction with back of house amenities, create a development that perfectly accommodates the ageing population of the area.
