KEY HIGHLIGHTS

Subcontractor Engagement: For all new 2024 projects, we’ve strengthened contract conditions requiring monthly reporting from subcontractors on fuel use, equipment on site, and social procurement, supporting our shared path to decarbonization and social value.

Women’s Network: Our growing Women’s Network continues to extend its impact beyond Multiplex through industry-wide events, fostering a space for members to share aspirations, build skills, and navigate challenges together.

Industry Engagement: 2024 marked a milestone year for us in ESG leadership, with active participation in national and global forums. We shared insights and advanced best practices through speaking engagements at the Net-Zero Construction Conference and CAGBC’s Building Lasting Change.

Building with Impact: In 2024, we began construction of two city-led projects designed with sustainability at their core: Kitchener's indoor recreation complex and Etobicoke Civic Centre.

Social Impact: From project updates to open feedback channels and Earth Day clean-ups across our sites, we’re committed to creating positive impact beyond the hoarding. In 2024, our focus on meaningful engagement included fundraising for local charities and partnering with non-profits to strengthen the communities where we build.

At Multiplex Canada, we believe that collective action is key to lasting impact. This report reflects the dedication, collaboration and outperformance that define our business.
