Queensland Premier announces Coomera Hospital milestone
The new Coomera Hospital team has reached another important milestone in Queensland, securing an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Agreement for the main hospital buildings, allowing early works to commence.
The announcement was marked by a site visit from Queensland Premier, The Hon. David Crisafulli MP and Minister for Health and Ambulance Services, The Hon. Tim Nicholls MP who joined representatives from the Queensland Government, Health Infrastructure Queensland, Gold Coast Health and the Multiplex team on site.
Through the ECI phase, our team will work alongside the Queensland Government and project partners to progress planning and design for the main hospital building. Once complete, the new Coomera Hospital will provide at least 600 beds and a broad range of healthcare services, supporting the growing needs of the northern Gold Coast community.
This milestone reflects the hard work of many people across the business who have contributed throughout the pursuit, planning and early engagement phases. It also builds on Multiplex's experience delivering complex health infrastructure and our commitment to creating projects that have a lasting impact on the communities where we build.
