AMP Capital’s Quay Quarter Tower is undoubtedly one of the most complex construction projects ever undertaken in Australia.

With an adapted reuse design retaining two thirds of an existing 50 year old building, the team used all of their engineering smarts to predict how the existing building would behave, and come up with a ‘top down, bottom up’ solution whereby we demolished part of the existing tower whilst simultaneously building its new core.
