The first international step for Grosvenor's Park Lane

Grosvenor House (Tower 1) was the first hotel opened in Dubai Marina. Its design has been fused with the very latest in technology, design and comfort.

Multiplex commenced construction on Grosvenor House for his Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum in January 2003, with its doors being opened in June 2005. This was the first foray outside the United Kingdom for the exclusive Grosvenor brand of Park Lane fame, so the success of its execution was imperative.

The external skin of the building is a combination of architectural precast concrete cladding and a glazed curtain wall. The raft slab for the development comprises 18,000m³ of concrete and 3,000 tonnes of reinforcing steel. The last concrete pour, over 6,500m³, represented the largest concrete pour in the United Arab Emirates at that time.

The three-basement, 45-storey structure fully occupies its 8,000 square metre plot and is strategically located at the northern mouth of the Dubai Marina, alongside the recently-opened second tower of the same name.

The tower, operated by Le Meridien, compromises a five-star hotel with 217 west-facing rooms, while the 205 serviced apartments offer stunning marina views.

Superior conferencing, banquetting and food and beverage facilities are on offer – with 12 restaurants and bars on-site, including world-renowned Buddha Bar and Rhodes Mezzanine by Michelin-starred chef, Gary Rhodes.

The hotel is lavishly decorated, offering a contemporary design and the very latest in technology. This is a complete lifestyle property and a pioneer project of the now flourishing Dubai Marina.
