State-of-the-art clinical and emergency services

Construction of the seven-storey, 339-bed hospital marks the sixth health project Multiplex has successfully delivered for the NSW Government and Health Infrastructure in recent years.

The new Maitland Hospital replaces the existing hospital, providing a range of enhanced adult and paediatric services for the region. New facilities include emergency, maternity, palliative care and rehabilitation, chemotherapy and ambulatory care spaces.

In addition, the revitalised hospital boasts contemporary clinical support services including operating suites, a central sterile services department, pharmacy and pathology, as well as isolation rooms, plaster rooms and gyms to support both general and mental health services for patients.
