Expanding capacity to support Brisbane’s growing demand for digital infrastructure
Multiplex has been appointed to deliver Stage 2 of NEXTDC’s B2 Brisbane data centre, which comprises an extension to an existing building.
Stage 2 of B2 Brisbane will double its long-term IT capacity from 6MW to 12MW. It will see the construction and fit-out of a new 1400 square metre data hall.
Early excavation works are now underway, with Multiplex using large rock-breaking machines to clear Brisbane tuff rock – a unique type of volcanic sediment – onsite.
