A major expansion of the Redcliffe Hospital, as part of the largest investment in new and expanded hospitals and new beds in Queensland’s history.
The expansion works involve the creation of a new nine-storey Clinical Services Building and refurbishment of existing spaces.
The Redcliffe Hospital expansion will deliver 204 extra hospital beds, the expansion of medical imaging, pharmacy and pathology areas, additional operating theatres, Emergency Department treatment spaces and birthing suites, as well as endoscopy, outpatient consult and diagnostic rooms.
Throughout construction the ambulatory care and clinical services buildings will also be combined into one integrated facility.
With staged handovers, the Redcliffe Hospital expansion is expected to be complete in 2028.
