As Adelaide’s most sustainable office tower, 83 Pirie St is the first all-electric-carbon-neutral-ready building and the first commercial and retail mixed-use building to not use natural gas
The 22-level PCA A-Grade development offers more than 30,000 square metres of premium commercial office space with large flexible floor plates.
Designed with sustainability in mind, 83 Pirie St delivers positive outcomes for the community and the environment, as well as best-in-class amenity for tenants.
The project offers a range of ESD features including electric car charging stations, considerable natural light from the building's three street frontages, and drought-resistant landscaping on the rooftop terrace.
Multiplex collaborated with Cbus Property in the early stages of the project to redesign the building’s façade, which includes distinctive sawtooth detail, bronze mesh and custom L-shape pressed brickwork on the lower podium levels.
Multiplex also redesigned the entire rooftop structure to incorporate and support a Building Maintenance Unit to clean and maintain the façade safely.
